Volunteer Info

Classroom Volunteers:

Our parent volunteers help to make our learning environments richer and more productive.  We always appreciate the helpfulness of our parent volunteers in the classroom, and volunteering opportunities should be arranged directly with your child’s classroom teacher.  Once dates and times have been agreed upon, there is a daily office check-in and signature required prior to entering the classroom.

Library Volunteers:

Parents and Grandparents alike are most welcome to assist in our library.  We are perpetually re-shelving books, choosing and displaying thematic literature to align with teaching units, and setting up hands-on experiences for visiting classrooms.  If you would like to be assistive in this way, we would love your support!  Please contact our librarian directly at Liz.Gutierrez@venturausd.org. Once dates and times have been agreed upon, there is a daily office check-in and signature required prior to entering the classroom. 

Event Volunteers:

We host numerous events on campus, in which our amazing Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plays a critical role.  Please reach out to our PTA Board directly to see how you can be assistive with Laps for Leopards, our annual Carnival, Student of the Month Breakfast Awards, Student Performances, and more.
