Welcome to Loma Vista Elementary!

There is something truly special about Loma Vista. From the moment you walk onto our campus, I hope you feel it: a sense of warmth and belonging, along with the unmistakable feeling that children are at the heart of everything we do.

Loma Vista is the school Where Everyone Has a SPOT. This is more than a school motto. It reflects who we are and how we want every child and family to feel as part of our community. We want every child to feel known, valued, and included. We are a school where relationships matter, where teachers know their students deeply, and where children are encouraged to discover their strengths and believe in what they are capable of achieving.

One of the things that makes Loma Vista so extraordinary is our incredible community. We are fortunate to have a close-knit group of families who genuinely care about our school and one another. Families show up, get involved, and help create the welcoming environment that makes Loma Vista feel like more than a school. It truly feels like a community.

We are also incredibly proud of Loma Vista's tradition of academic excellence. Our students demonstrate outstanding achievement, and our results reflect the strength of our instructional program and the dedication of our teachers. Our staff works closely together, uses student learning to guide instruction, and continually looks for ways to challenge and support every learner. Families can feel confident that the warmth they experience at Loma Vista is matched by high expectations and exceptional learning.

We believe children are capable of remarkable things when they are known, supported, challenged, and inspired. At Loma Vista, academic excellence and the joy of childhood go hand in hand. Our students are encouraged to achieve at high levels while also experiencing art, dance, pottery, theater, music, celebrations, traditions, and the special moments that make elementary school memorable. Years from now, I hope our Leopards remember not only what they learned, but the teachers who believed in them, the friendships they built, the things they discovered they could do, and most of all, how it felt to belong here.

It is an incredible privilege to serve as the principal of Loma Vista and to lead a school community that cares so deeply about children. I am proud of the learning that happens here, proud of the people who make it possible, and especially proud that Loma Vista is a place where children can thrive academically while still experiencing the joy and magic that elementary school should provide.
