We will communicate with you as soon as possible in the event of a school wide evacuation.  There will be three distinct locations to reunite with your child(ren) by grade level.  If you have multiple children in multiple grades, we will do our best to usher them to the gate at which you check in amongst our personnel.  Your patience is appreciated during this process!

The registration process begins online.  Please visit https://venturausd.aeries.net/enrollment/ to begin the process.

All documents listed below are to be uploaded directly on the online registration website.  If you experience challenges in uploading documents, please call the school office at 805-641-5443.

• Birth certificate 

• Proof of vaccinations inclusive of polio, hepatitis B, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella {chickenpox}

• Two proofs of residency such as a mortgage, lease, and utilities.

Upon first enrollment, students entering either Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten programs are required to have an oral health assessment.  Please plan to schedule appointments with your child’s pediatric dentist no earlier than March 1.  The form is linked here: Oral Health Form.

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is a bridge between preschool and Kindergarten that gives young learners a head start and provides them with an opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that is tailored to meet their academic and social-emotional needs. Since enrollment at a school site is not based on a family's residential boundary and the TK program is not offered at all VUSD elementary schools, families must apply via the SOC lottery process. For the 2025–26 school year and in each school year thereafter:

Children who will have their fourth birthday by September 1 shall be admitted to a transitional kindergarten program (Education Code 48000)

On-site daycare is available through our partnership with the YMCA.  This program is staffed and supervised by the YMCA, and is housed on the Loma Vista campus.  For information on availability, please call (805) 256-2475
